When you publish rates, shippers can pre-book from search results — you review and confirm before anything is final. You control visibility: show your name, your price, both, or keep rates network-only for connected shippers. If you don't publish rates for a lane, shippers can still send RFQs — either a lane-wide request that goes to all forwarders on that route, or a direct request to you specifically. You respond with a custom offer.
Forwarders who publish rates get higher search visibility, more shipper engagement, and faster pre-booking conversions. On Pro and Business plans, confirmed pre-bookings carry a 0% platform fee — you keep 100%. You also control exactly what shippers see — name, price, or both. Starter lets you test the platform with up to 10 lanes and basic visibility. Pro unlocks 50 lanes, priority search placement, bulk rate upload, team access (up to 5), analytics, and 0% booking fees. Business adds unlimited lanes, top search placement, API access, unlimited team members, advanced analytics, and a dedicated account manager — with the lowest RFQ fee at 1%.
You can upgrade anytime from your forwarder dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately — your fees decrease, lane capacity expands, and new features become available right away. Pro and Business are free for the first 3 months.
Yes. Your rates are only visible to shippers searching relevant lanes. You control which lanes and rates to publish, what's visible (name, price, or both), and whether rates are public or network-only. OceanDeals does not share your data with competitors.
